November 15 – 7:50 PM Tokyo time – On the airplane back.

We are aboard the plane headed back to San Francisco. Last night was not exactly the relaxing experience I had envisioned. Pure belligerence instead. My body has been so abused that I can hardly write right now. It has been a really great trip but it feels good to be going back to normal life.

Last night was a very, very crazy night. After finding out that we would have to be awake by 2:30 AM to catch our plane home Kevin and I decided to just go out with a bang or actually something more like a blazing ball of fire and stay up all night. And what better way to spend your last night in Thailand than at a ping pong show? Kevin, me and our friend Kylie took a tuk tuk to a show that originally wanted 4,000 baht admission for all three of us but Kevin offered 1,500 and the lady took it.

Some crazy things happen at ping pong shows. To start, one of the dancers fell off of her pole and then off the stage onto the floor. It looked like it hurt. Then during the balloon popping dart show one of the darts went out of control and hit a lady in the audience in the face. It stuck in her skin but I think she was all right. I guess. As all right as you can be from that experience. Also, during the actual ping pong show the “actress?” asked for a volunteer from the audience. We got Kylie to do it. The lady had originally asked me to come on stage but I didn’t want to because I figured that they would make me lay on the dirty stage. Well, you had to do that but it actually gets worse. Kylie was on stage laying on the floor and the dancer told her to open her mouth. The ping pong ball actually shoots out and into the volunteers mouth. Very faulty. After Kylie did this Kevin immediately took her to 7-11 to get some Listerine. I hope she’s all right.

We all got pretty wasted at the show and eventually headed back to the hotel to enjoy our last few hours in town. Hammered. A 12-year-old girl taxi driver gave us a ride to the airport in her Honda Accord. I am surprised that I am even on the plane right now. I was so out of it that I could hardly talk to anyone at the checkout or security line or all that, I just stumbled around following Kevin. I think they just wanted to get me out of their country. I even puked in the airport and also in the planes bathroom. Most of it got all over my pants. I am in a very pathetic state right now with lots of puke still on me.

Anyways, I think that’s about it for this trip and this journal. It was a good time, something that I will always remember. I might come back someday but for now my body needs a long break and a rest from beer. Peace.
