A month ago Kevin and I were sitting in a coffee shop on Geary Blvd. in San Francisco planning our trip. Back then I never could have imagined what this experience would be like. Today is our last day and so much is behind us, so many crazy experiences that I could never have predicted but will always remember.
One experience is the smell that I smell right now as I sweat on the patio of the New Siam II. It’s the smell of the hot and sour lemon grass and ginger soup, tom yum. I smell it everywhere and can say that besides the noxious odors that you also smell a lot here this is the official smell of Thailand. I love it. Like I said, you smell it everywhere all the time. The thing is that I have never smelled this smell before in my life and will probably never smell it again exactly like this unless I come back to Thailand. A lot of things we have seen and experienced will be like that. Only in Thailand.
We have tried to keep this last day relaxing. This is the reason that I came here, to get out of my normal life and not have any responsibilities. I knew before I came that I would do a lot of sight seeing but I would have been happy just sitting around doing nothing all day. All the things that I have seen, doing two or three things a day has been awesome, but everything besides realaxing is a bonus. There have been a lot of bonuses.

Today we walked across the Rama VII Bridge, a pretty chill and really beautiful thing. The walk is probably similar to a tourist in San Francisco walking across the Golden Gate Bridge although we were the only westerners on the bridge and, sorry, actually nothing in the world can compare to the GGB experience.

Here's a pic of a mobile toilet bus above.
So this evening I am going to accomplish what I originally intended to do at the onset of this trip, kick back and relax.
Note to self: Remember that bush turkeys are a nuisance.
